The leadership and technical and project teams meet periodically to share prioritized developments. This week, therefore, the meeting to present the new dynamics of organizing the portfolios of Product Owners (POs) and the project management support meeting took place, which are essential for achieving results in the context of formal technical Cooperation Agreements and Terms, and especially the alignment with organizational objectives and the implementation of the agile culture at BIREME.
With the product owners (POs), the focus was on the product portfolio and strategic priorities, team load balancing and the best use of known skills for each phase of product development.
The project management support meeting maintained the objective of supporting the implementation of the agile culture, incorporating its principles to ensure formalized deliveries.
By integrating these two forums, BIREME reinforces its commitment to a structured and effective agile transformation, promoting autonomy, strategic alignment and continuous delivery of value for the benefit of the effective implementation of its mission of promoting equitable access to technical and scientific information.
Currently, the information products and services that are being prioritized for development are in the context of five Terms of Cooperation (TCs) and one Agreement with the Government of Brazil in coordination with PWR BRA: 91 (SECTICS), 93 (SE; SAPS and SESAI – for BIREME), 95 (SE and SEIDIGI), 140 (SECTICS); 157 (SEIDIGI) and the Agreement with SMS-SP. In addition to the Global Library of Traditional Medicine (TMGL) with the Global Traditional Medicine Centre (GTMC) of the World Health Organization (WHO).
Participating in these exchanges are the Director, João Paulo Souza, the technical and project leaders and the product owners, accompanied by consultants who support the entire process of maintaining concepts, developing skills and implementing them.
